File conversion in AI assistants
An AI assistant handles everyday conversions on its own. Connect conved and it can also deal with formats its own tools usually can’t: Keynote presentations, WordPerfect documents, AutoCAD DWG drawings, CorelDRAW drawings, camera RAW photos, Kindle e-books or Garmin watch recordings – hundreds of formats in total.

A server for the Model Context Protocol (MCP). The first time you use it you sign in with your email – if you have no account, a free one is created.
How to connect
- Claude
- On claude.ai or in the Claude app: Customize → Connectors → Add custom connector, paste the server address and click Connect.
- ChatGPT
- In Settings → Apps, turn on developer mode and add the address as a custom app.
- Claude Code

- Add the address as an HTTP MCP server. A configuration example is in the documentation.
On first use the app opens conved.com: enter your email, type in the code we send you and allow the connection. Connected apps are listed in your account, where you can disconnect them at any time.
What the assistant can do
- Convert a file from anywhere. From a public link, from text it writes (Markdown, HTML, CSV), or from your computer – the assistant sends you a link to a page where you upload the file.
- Read the result right away. Text from a PDF, a spreadsheet as CSV or an image goes straight into the conversation, so the assistant can keep working with it.
- Help with formats. It finds out what a file can be converted to and keeps an eye on the conversion and your account limits.

Limits and privacy
A free account has the same limits as the website: 10 conversions per hour, up to 100 MB per file. Uploaded files are deleted right after the conversion, results after 14 days. We do not read your files or use them to train AI. A connected app can convert files and see your account email, conversion history and limits – nothing else. Details are in our privacy policy. Online videos are not available through assistants.
